Happy holidays! It's the weekend before Christmas which means holiday parties galore and even though I won't be stepping out this weekend (thank you wisdom teeth), I've planned and already worn some great outfits for every occasion!
Look 1: House Party
For the most casual of parties (a high school reunion or college party), I'd wear something that's not overly Christmas-y. I've recently become a huge fan of the Urban Outfitters cropped cami and the red and white striped one is perfect! I paired it with my new favorite vegan leather star jacket (similar), jeans, and sneakers. I just ordered the Senso Aurora sneakers (they're on sale) which will complement the star jacket super well!
Look 2: Family Gathering
The second look (featured in the photo above) might be my favorite because it's super simple and works for so many different events. The bright red sweater (similar) keeps me warm while matching all of the Christmas decorations and my go-to black jeans are extremely comfortable to move and eat in! I'm wearing my Matt and Nat Chelsea-style boots but I also love the Susi Studio Billie boots! For accessories, I'd wear small, chunky gold hoops or pearls.
Look 3: Wine & Dine
This look is great for a nicer dinner party or a nice restaurant. I bought an amazing velvet, cranberry-colored peplum top from J.Crew last year (similar) and it is my go-to holiday top this year. You can easily pair it with nice jeans and black heels or faux leather leggings and thigh-high boots. It would also be super chic with a black turtleneck layered underneath! I'd wear this with layered gold necklaces and a fun updo like a low bun or slick-back pony. I'd pair these with black metal Kendra Scott earrings!
Look 4: Hostess with the Mostess
I named the look 'Hostess with the Mostess' because I felt like I was living out my dinner party host fantasy, but you can rock this look as a host or a guest! The statement piece here is a red suede skort (business in the front, party in the back)! I paired it with sheer tights, ankle boots, and a white crop top for a casual look but I'd love it with taller boots and a cream sweater. When I wore this outfit, I paired it with a black and gold headband and gold bracelets!
I hope you enjoyed my h0liday party outfit roundup! Which looks did you like the most/what's your go-to holiday party outfit? xx Lauren
