Today I'm bringing it back 3 years and doing an updated winter beauty look! Winter makeup looks are always so fun because there's always numerous parties and different looks to try. From metallic eyeshadow to a cranberry red lip, everyone can find a look they love! Last time, I worked with Adore Me to create a look inspired by their bra & panty sets; so this year I'm doing the same.
In the winter, my skin gets super dry, so I've started using eye primer to prevent my eyeshadow from creasing and also to make the application smoother. Lorac's Behind the Scenes Eyeshadow Primer is one of my favorites and I use it whenever I apply sparkly shadows to add an extra pop.
I used Sultry from theBalm's NUDE 'tude palette as a base/crease shade for my eyes, blending it all over the lid and into the crease. Sultry is a warm brown that matches my skin tone perfectly, and great for blending my eyeshadow.
Then I applied Stubborn from the palette, which a bubblegum pink shade with a bit of shimmer. It sounds daunting, but the shadow isn't too pigmented making it super easy to work with and blend out. I applied this shade mainly to the outer half of the lid.
Next, I applied Stand-offish, a lighter, shimmery rose gold shade. I applied this to the inner half of the lid, using a Sigma blending brush to blend it with the darker shade.
Finally, I went back in with Sultry to blend all the shadows in the crease.
For eyeliner, I used the Tarte Sex Kitten Liquid Liner lining just my lash line.

For mascara, I wanted a dramatic look; so I used Hourglass' Caution Mascara.
I love a statement lip, so I jumped at the opportunity to wear my Tarte tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Delish. Not only does it dry matte without drying out your lips, but it stays on all day and doesn't get on your teeth!
I hope you all enjoyed this post, and I would love if you recreated this look or another one in Adore Me's winter makeup set! Leave a comment below letting me know which winter beauty trend is your favorite! Stay tuned, xo Lauren.
